Third Time Lucky. I have just updated the database thing again because for some reason it broke, which is a royal pain in the arse, its now all fixed and everything is working as it should be, the date and time thing is finally fixed and the URL structure for the news stories has changed. When you visit the full news story you will notice that the title of that news story appears in the URL, this is another SEO trick i learnt about and its what caused some of todays problems.

The first problem is that if you put a _ in the title when adding a new story it fucks everything up, so i hacked my code so that it doesnt do that any more, another problem is that if i have two news stories that have the same title (not sure why that would happen) then everything fecks up.

I will creating a tutorial at some point explaining how i did the whole URL thing because its something that is extremely useful and something that i want people to know about. Before i sign off for the day i would like everyone to know this news_database is 100% hand coded and i did not use a blogging system or any other CMS (Content Management System) for this, this is all my code and i will take full credit for everything, even the errors.

The RSS feed will be fixed very shortly and will finally show news the way it should have done from the start. Comments will come next week or the week after, and anything else i promised will come after that.
