Last week saw the launch of new iPod Nanos, iPod Touch and small changes to the iPod Classic as well as a new iTunes version. Apple also released a new iPhone update towards the end of the week and this is my roundup and review of the new update.

A little over 1 week ago iTunes 8.0 was released to coincide with the new iPod Nanos, iPod Touches and iPhone update, with several new features the software is certainly something clever.
Genius
The biggest new feature and certainly the thing Steve Jobs was overly excited about was the new iTunes Genius feature. iTunes Genius will will take all the information about your songs and send them to Apple's massive server farm where algorithms try to find people who like similar music to yourself, this allows them to then send back information about songs that are similar and also recommend new songs.

I wouldn't say i was an massive Facebook user like someone who would spend all day on Facebook and only close the window to go and eat or when the boss walks by, that too me seems like a waste of time and Facebook certainly doesn't offer that kind of time-value, However I check my Facebook page once a day just to see what people are up to, read messages, add new people who i haven't spoken too in a while or seen since primary school or leave stupid messages on people's Facebook wall.

Beat Maker seems to have been in the iTunes App Store since the launch of it back in July but i never wanted to download it because 1. The Cost and 2. I didn't have the new iPhone and didn't know how the DRM works, so i held off for a couple of months.

On Wednesday i received my shiny new iPhone 3G in White which just looks amazing and totally worth the wait without a doubt.
Since the purchase of the new iPhone i have been scouting for brilliant new applications that will make the iPhone better than any other piece of crap phone on the market. Thanks to a recommendation by James Omerod i came across
