I'm sure many people already know that i'm a massive fan of The Killers and if you don't then you better know, and know fast. You may also know that V Festival 2009 was the best weekend of my life, mainly thanks to The Killers, once again if you don't know, know fast.

Well my calendar has been pretty bare until 2010 when The Killers are expected to release their next studio album of covers. Well that all changed today when The Killers announced to fans that their Live DVD from the Royal Albert Hall will go on sale November 9th 2009 with an appropriately name "The Killers - Live From The Royal Albert Hall"

The Killers – Live From The Royal Albert Hall features tracks from the band’s three studio albums, Hot Fuss (2004), Sam’s Town (2006) and Day & Age (2008) - including huge hit singles Human, When You Were Young, Mr Brightside, and All These Things That I’ve Done - as well as rarer tracks including their cover of Joy Division’s Shadowplay and fan favorite Sweet Talk (previously released on the band’s 2007 collection of rarities, Sawdust). This package also includes the band’s first and only live CD with 80 minutes of live performance, as well as a behind-the-scenes documentary.

The Killers will release their first live DVD on November 10th 2009. (November 9th in the UK.)

Reaction

Immediately i began crying uncontrollably with happiness and told everyone i could find using the two major social publishing website Twitter and Facebook (i made social publishing up out of pure joy) and because i cannot control my joy or my erection i decided to blog about it in the hope that it would some how affect more people like it affects me.

The DVD, which was filmed July 5th & 6th 2009 at the Royal Albert Hall London, will have a running time of 110 minutes (1:50hrs) and will be released on DVD on the 9th November 2009 in the UK and the 10th November 2009 everywhere else.

Along with the DVD will come an Album with 80 minutes of Live performances from The Killers, perfect for my iPod.

Obviously i'm already very excited as i have been looking forward to this DVD since they announced it but didn't expect it until next year. I urge everyone who likes The Killers to buy it and if you don't like The Killers buy it as a gift for someone who does.
