Well the V Festival 2010 lineup has been started off, Virgin Media have announced the first set of bands destined to play the awesome festival in summer 2010 including the headlining bands.

This obviously isn't the full line up and there are a lot more bands to be announced, if last year is anything to go by then we can expect more announcements in the coming weeks.

My personal thoughts were initially of disappointment, but when i go over the fact nothing will ever beat The Killers on a Sunday night i soon realised that Kasabian, Stereophonics, Editors, The Kooks and Ellie Goulding are great.

I already have my tickets but if you fancy getting yours you can go to ticketmaster on Friday (5th March) and get yours for either Weston Park, Staffordshire or Hyland Park, Chelmsford.

I'm also working hard on an iPhone application that everyone can take with them to the festival that will include a time table of bands, a map and obviously the bands playing.
